In regards to the clicker training method, a previous trainer had told us that although clicker training has been a wonderful training method. There was only one major problem: If a clicker breaks (which will eventually happen), you’d have to purchase another. Although each clicker sounds the same to the human ear, each clicker has a different sound to your dog. This could lead to a possibly disasterous situation if your dog will only respond to the original clickers’ specific sound.
